PPRP raises the bar with three core policies

Findings from analysis of six target occupation groups will enable Thai people to live better

General Prawit Wongsuwon, PPRP leader, has appointed three steering committees to drive PPRP’s core policies. These include: Pracharath Welfare Committee: to tackle disparity, chaired by Mr. Suraporn Danaitangtrakul, Party-list Member of the House of Representatives (MP); Pracharath Economy Committee aiming to build people’s capacity and promote equal opportunity, chaired by Mr. Pornchai Trakulwaranont, Party-list MP; and Pracharath Society Committee to promote a peaceful and strong society, chaired by Mr. CharnKrij Dejvitak, Vice Minister attached to the Prime Minister. The three steering committee representatives recently met to assess the progress in formulating the PPRP’s policies. Mr. Chuan Chuchan, Party-list MP; Mr. Sutha Prateep Na Thalang, Phuket 1st district MP; Volunteer Defense Corps Major Aryasit Srisuwan, Nakhon Ratchasima 3rd district MP joined the meeting.

The panel conducted a feasibility study to assess the formulation of strategies to steer the PPRP’s three core policies. In particular, the Pracharath Economy Committee analyses the strengths and weaknesses of each political party to set PPRP guidelines and policies. The Committee will study and collect information on six occupation groups, namely agricultural group; middle-income, SMEs, social enterprise\and startup group; tourism industry group; driving Thai food industry toward the world’s food production source group; green industry movement group; and entertainment and media industry group.

As for the Pracharath Society mission, the issue is in the process of gathering information from various local areas to analyse the needs of local people in accordance with changing society and to build an ecosystem to reduce the people’s cost of living. This is because each region has different ways of living. The government sector will support and promote marketing activities in order to lay out a framework of the civil state social group and set PPRP’s future policy.

“Pracharath Welfare Committee has laid out guidelines to facilitate Thai people in accessing government policies, including finding stable-income jobs, while aiming to eradicate occupational limitations such as in the energy sector,” said Ms. Kenika Oonjit, PPRP spokesperson. “That makes people unable to access the benefits of energy production, including promoting public access to solar energy at low prices to increase efficiency in terms of low costs farming.”
