Ngern Tid Lor continues to provide financial knowledge for Ban Sai Ngam Community in Prachin Buri

Ngern Tid Lor Public Company Limited, or TIDLOR, led by Kanjanat Chalermjulamanee (front, 7th right) Senior Vice President, People Learn & Culture, and Mingkwan Prasertsiwaporn, Training Specialist (front, 7th left) joined by a team of volunteers, hosted “Driving Community with knowledge, going forward”, the programme providing lessons in simple money saving tips for 20 locals residing in Ban Sai Ngam, Prachin Buri.

The event, which included entertaining activities, is an ongoing programme aimed at promoting basic financial knowledge and planning, enabling understanding among locals, and convincing them to apply the principles taught in their daily lives and pass them on to family. Part of Ngern Tid Lor’s commitment to providing knowledge and opportunities for people to move forward, the activity has been well-received while generating improvements in savings habits and instilling healthy financial routines.  

Yuvachalin Yoddee, Head of Ban Sai Ngam Village (front, 6th right), warmly welcomed the team at All-Purpose Building, Ban Sai Ngam Community, Prachin Buri, witnessed by Bank of Thailand executive board members and the financial knowledge promotion team who exchanged insights and some ideas to further financial enhancements for the public.

The financial knowledge programme for small business owners was initiated in 2012 before extending to the CSR programme for community under the title “Driving Community with knowledge, going forward”. The sessions facilitate convenience and cost-saving efficiency among lower income and underbanked groups residing in the communities as well as workers and community leaders nationwide. The activity also gives Ngern Tid Lor volunteer staff the opportunity to gain understanding of the value of supporting customers.
