URC Thailand, proud maker of Jack n Jill snackbrand, received two prestigious FDA Quality Awards from the Ministry of Public Health in December 2022.
Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Minister of Public Health and Deputy Prime Minister, did the honour of bestowing the awards at Miracle Grand Convention Hotel.
The two awards that URC Thailand received were:
The Outstanding Healthy-Food Product Manufacturer (General Category) Award. With Mr. Wattawut Ueaphumirat, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Director receiving the award for the company.
The Outstanding Healthy-Food Product under Local Ingredients Supporter Category Award. Received by Mr. Boonyarat Chunet, URC Quality Assurance and Quality Management System Manager, this award was specifically for URC’s Dewberry Puff Cake Orange.
To be recognised by the Ministry of Public Health for FDA Quality Awards many standards and quality checks need to be met. URC succeeded in meeting all standards, most notably for product quality and environmentally-friendly product-packaging under the company’s sustainability project, UR Green.
The company was first recognised by the FDA Quality Awards in 2020 and continues to drive for a better future in aspects of food quality and sustainability, for both consumers and the environment.
