Titan Capital Group Holdings Co.,Ltd., a company focusing on investing in a variety of businesses both domestically and internationally, led by Mr. Tantai Narongkoon, Chief Executive Officer, has acquired 70% of shares in the Thai gaming company, Republic Of Legends Co.,Ltd. (ROL), of which he is Managing Director.
ROL is an online game developer in ASEAN with an authorised capital of 10 million baht. The company has a management team with a lot of experience in producing and developing online games. The team includes Mr. Pokai Jansongkroh, Head of Development, who is a specialist in design and development of various gaming systems on several platforms, and Mr. Jakkrapong Tull, Head of Marketing, who is an expert in marketing strategies in gaming businesses.
They will join forces with each other to create games that meet the needs of gamers and bring memorable co-experiences to players, and help ROL become a leader in the “Variety Game Hub,” a game centre in ASEAN for a variety of popular games past and present.
“The first game that ROL will release in March is ‘Age Of Khagan’, the legendary MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) game with a levelling-up concept,” said Mr. Tantai. “ROL has invested more than 11 million baht to buy the rights from Khanatic Network Gaming (KNG), a big game development company in the Philippines, and also signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop the game, adapt it to the modern era and provide
cross-platform functionality, allowing users to play both on mobile phones (iOS and Android) and PC. ROL reserves the rights to manage and publish ‘Age Of Khagan’ exclusively in Thailand for seven years.”
“The reason we chose Age Of Khagan to pioneer the Thai market is because it is a well-known game with many existing players. We therefore brought the game to develop it by adding new technologies that improve its quality and make it stable and match the lifestyle of people regardless of gender or age. We added a new feature to the game with R3D (Real 3D Live Gaming) so players can have a sense of realism. Those who like extremely diverting battles with many characters from different career fields will have a great experience. Players can upgrade their characters’ battle classes.
