Miss Arisara Suthasut, Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, and Company Secretary of IRPC Public Company Limited, was presented with an honorary plaque as a private sector partner for their unwavering support in forest conservation.
The plaque was bestowed by Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, during the "2023 Community Forest National Day" event held on May 24, 2023, at the Asia Airport Hotel (Zeer Rangsit Shopping Mall) in Pathumthani province.
IRPC has been actively collaborating with the Stock Exchange of Thailand, government entities such as the Royal Forest Department and Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), as well as local communities. Together, they have undertaken the "Care the Wild, Plant & Protect" project in the Ban Khok Phluang Forest Community, Tambon Hin Khon, Chakrat district, Nakhon Ratchasima province. The project's objective is to reforest a 10 rai area over the course of ten years. This initiative demonstrates the private sector network's commitment to supporting community forest development, creating long-term benefits for the local economy, ecosystem preservation, and mitigating global warming, ultimately striving for a harmonious balance with nature.
