Zeroboard, Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Michitaka Tokeiji), a developer and provider of Zeroboard, a cloud service to calculate and visualize GHG (Greenhouse gas) emissions, held a ceremony on September 8, 2023 for MOU of partnership on decarbonization with INNOPOWER Company Limited (Bangkok, CEO: Mr.Athip Tantivorawong, hereinafter referred to as “INNOPOWER”), an energy innovation and technology company under EGAT (Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand) with a strategic focus on promoting clean tech energy solutions for businesses and enabling them to plan and achieve their zero emissions goals.
INNOPOWER was established as a joint venture between EGAT, RATCH Group Public Company Limited, and Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO), three major Thai energy companies with over 50 years of experience in the energy sector, with the mission to accelerate the transition to clean energy and promote innovation in the energy and technology sectors in Thailand.
Through this collaboration, INNOPOWER will assist its clients in calculating and visualizing their GHG emissions using 'Zeroboard,' empowering organisations to not only assess their carbon footprint but also to develop comprehensive strategies for estimating and mitigating their emissions. This partnership reflects INNOPOWER's commitment to providing holistic solutions for reducing GHG emissions and fostering sustainable practices among businesses."
The two companies will expand their decarbonization management services by co-creating innovations that include GHG emission reduction solutions for solar projects and electric vehicle (EV) fleets, as well as trading of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).
The two companies will deepen their cooperative relationship and share local information, technology, and know-how on decarbonization to promote decarbonization management support throughout Thailand and contribute to reducing environmental impacts and climate change impacts toward Thailand's goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
