In both regions, EVA was also ranked eighth for the best airlines in the world for food. These awards, known as the longest-running and most prestigious in the travel industry, showcase EVA's excellence. Condé Nast Traveller and its sister publication Conde Nast Traveler are luxury and lifestyle travel magazines. Over half a million readers worldwide rated their travel experiences in the annual survey, which was open for voting from April 1 to June 30, 2023. As they shared their travel experiences from around the globe, readers also provided insights into the places and experiences they miss and eagerly anticipate returning to. Condé Nast Traveller describes its Readers' Choice Awards as the "ultimate symbol and acknowledgment of excellence within the travel sector."

Readers cast their votes using questionnaires featuring lists of candidates across various categories, including airlines, airports, trains, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, spas, cities, luggage, and countries. To qualify for the Readers' Choice Awards, candidates needed to receive a minimum number of responses and achieve a minimum overall rating. Candidates were evaluated based on specific criteria related to each category. In 2021, Conde Nast Traveller also recognised EVA in its Top 10 Airlines in the World in its Readers' Choice Awards.
EVA Air holds the distinction of being one of only 10 SKYTRAX-rated 5-Star Airlines globally. It has earned 16 separate SKYTRAX awards, including ninth place among the "World's Top 10 Airlines." EVA has also received top accolades in categories such as "World's Best Premium Economy Class," "Best Premium Economy Class Airlines in Asia," and "World's Best Premium Economy Inflight Catering." In addition, Travel + Leisure readers voted EVA among the Top 10 World's Best International Airlines for 2023. TripAdvisor recognised EVA as one of the "Top 10 Airlines – World" and awarded it top rankings in four additional categories in its Travelers' Choice Awards for Airlines. EVA Air secured eighth place in AirlineRatings.com's "Top 25 Best Airlines in the World for 2023" and received high ratings for safety and COVID compliance in January 2023.
