BeLuThai Gala Dinner 2024: “When Magic Happens” Everything is Possible!

BeLuThai created the highly anticipated Gala Dinner, themed “When Magic Happens,” on June 7th, 2024, at the Conrad Bangkok. This prestigious and magical event proved to be an evening of elegance, networking, and celebration.

Attendees indulged in an exceptional culinary experience, savouring delectable cuisine accompanied by Belgian Beer and Luxembourg wine. This unique fusion of tastes teased the palates of guests, providing a delightful representation of the cultural richness shared between these three countries.

The magical spectacle included keynote addresses delivered by BeLuThai President, Mrs. Siriporn Wuthilaohaphan, followed by the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to Thailand, H.E. Mr. Patrick Hemmer, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Thailand, H.E. Mrs. Sibille de Cartier d’Yves.

In addition to the culinary delights, the Gala Dinner featured engaging interactions with our special guest, Ms. Janakabhorn Karunayadhaj (Dlite), Thailand Equestrian, who qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The evening also starred a special show “The Power of Love: When Magic Happens,” designed and directed by Mr. Narong Ketkaew, Creative Director of Narong Bridal.

The magical awards for the best-dressed attendees were presented to Saraphun Wongngernyuang for best dressed woman and Sutheesak Pakdeetewa (Joe) for Best Dressed man.

BeLuThai extends a special THANK YOU to the Diamond Sponsors: Solvay Asia Pacific, Katoen Natie, SDesigns, Royal Botania, Maison Fr6, Sarens, Brewberry, and Blue Elephant Restaurant & Cooking School.

We are very grateful to our Platinum Sponsors: INVE Aquaculture and Full Well Freight.

Our genuine thanks goes to our Gold Sponsors: Umicore Group, Faber Flags Asia, Gallothai, Sukhothai Inter Law, and BNP Paribas.

But more than anything, we would like to thank all the guests who attended our BeLuThai Gala Dinner.

Special thanks to Solvay Group and Katoen Natie for generously sponsoring the backdrops of the BeLuThai Gala Dinner Night. The backdrops, created by Faber Flags Asia have been made from eco-friendly printing substrates, using 100% polyester-based fabrics manufactured from recycled PET bottles. After the event, the backdrops have been repurposed through the “after event bags” upcycle project, in collaboration with the Thai Child Development Foundation (TCDF). This sustainable initiative aligns with BeLuThai’s commitment to promoting sustainability to eliminate single-use backdrops. The project generated funds to support TCDF’s work in providing medical care and education to underprivileged children, especially those with disabilities or learning disorders.

The magical event also featured a lucky draw, with all proceedings going to the Foundation for Slum Child Care and the Thai Child Development Foundation. Lucky draw prizes were sponsored by Maison Fr6, Blue Elephant Cooking School and Restaurant, BNH Hospital, Agoda, The Vintage Club, Hybrid Restaurant and Wine Bar, Diamond Resort Phuket, Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, Siri Sala, Serenity Wines, Amari Bangkok, Conrad Bangkok, O’right, and Bumrungrad International Hospital. In-kind sponsors include Faber Flags Asia, Gallothai, Solvay, SDesigns, Winson Capital, Narong Bridal, Maxwin, Lotus Bakeries, Regus, and Italasia.

The Belgian-Luxembourg/Thai Chamber of Commerce (BeLuThai) is a dynamic chamber comprising some 100 corporate and individual members. Established in November 1992, BeLuThai succeeded the Thai-Belgium Business Association, which had been operational since September 1990.
