STR8FIRE Joins T&B Media: IPs Enter Web3 Era

STR8FIRE and T&B Media Global collaborate to transform Web2 IP assets through blockchain and crypto technology.

STR8FIRE, an Intellectual Property (IP) startup that integrates Web2 IP onto the blockchain, has announced that it is partnering with T&B Media Global, a leading Thai entertainment and IP management company that owns more than 5,000 IP assets globally. Under the terms of the partnership, STR8FIRE will integrate T&B’s IP assets into STR8FIRE’s growing ecosystem.

T&B is a prominent entertainment studio in Asia, with numerous properties enjoyed theatrically or streaming on global platforms. The company’s animated movie “Out of the Nest” recently landed a coveted spot in the prestigious "Annecy Presents" category at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in Annecy, France.

The initial focus of the collaboration between STR8FIRE and T&B Media Global is focused on Mittaria, a T&B property that serves as a blockchain-based, inter-generational entertainment hub united around a love of animation, movies, music, and games.

STR8FIRE’s partnership with T&B will unfold in two phases. Phase one will involve social-media collaborations to enhance the visibility of both projects, accelerating the growth of community members in both X (formerly Twitter) and Discord, and cultivating a sense of mutual interest and support among each company’s respective communities.

Phase two will see Mittaria integrated into the STR8FIRE ecosystem, enriching Mittaria with new and unique characters and environments. The partnership also includes hosting competitions within the community for Way to Gods, a creator-centric project inside the Mittaria metaverse and based on a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

The partnership highlights the transformative power of crypto and blockchain technology on Web2 IP assets  in the Web3 world. Traditionally, media conglomerates have owned IP rights and have profited from those rights as fans engage in everything from movies to games to comic books, action figures, and more.

In the emerging Web3 world, IP ownership is decentralised, allowing fans to own and monetize characters, items, music, and other assets through NFTs.

“We deeply value this partnership with T&B Media Global because it combines the strengths of two great companies into a unified force that will reshape what IP looks like in Web3 and will expand the opportunities for millions of consumers to benefit from the owning of IP on the blockchain,” said Christiaan Eisberg, STR8FIRE’s CEO.

STR8FIRE utilises Epic Game’s Unreal Engine and NVIDIA’s Omniverse platform to develop custom 3D Pipeline Technology, enabling the creation of interconnected narratives across multiple media formats and allows for the monetization of those assets through animations, comics, games, toys, music, and immersive experiences.

Through this approach, STR8FIRE seamlessly merges Web3 and Web2 through free-to-play games and NFT collections. That, in turn, allows STR8FIRE’s gaming community to profit from the success of the company’s collection of IP assets.

The STR8FIRE team is built around a collection of pros including a BAFTA-winning animator, a Marvel comics writer, an IP developer for Disney, as well as AI and DeFi experts and seasoned Web3 game developers.
