Donating fifteen modified toy cars for kids with disabilities to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to contribute to those in need.

Mr. Chakraboon Bhanarai, President of the MiniMovers group of high schoolers, donated 15 modified toy cars designed for children under 30 kilograms, worth 200,000 baht, to the Governor of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration on Monday, 24th June 2024.

Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, the Governor of the BMA, together with Mr. Sanon Wangsrangboon, Deputy Governor, Mr. Pimuk Simaroj, Secretary to the Governor, and Mr. Thanakorn Chaisri, Director of the BMA’s Department of Education, were present at the venue.

MiniMovers team members have been working on modifying toy cars to suit children with lower limb impairments or even with only one arm to steer the car on their own. From Marché de Mater Dei 97th Year and from Patana Fun Day 2024, the team raised funds to run this project until the 15 cars were completed. The objective is to build confidence through happiness while riding the cars. A remote-controlled option is also provided so adults can join the fun.

The initiatives of the younger generation towards these needs show the big impact on making changes to our community. MiniMovers will continue to create, develop, and produce more for disabled children, aiming for a larger scale across the Kingdom of Thailand.
