
Reaffirming success and delivering the best experiences to tourists, MBK Center and The Nine Center Rama 9 have been awarded the Service and Safety Standards for Tourist Malls and the Public Restroom Standards for Tourism by the Department of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism and Sports. Moreover, Pathumwan Princess Hotel and Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort received the Tourism Accommodation Standards for Hotels and Resorts. The MBK Group continues to develop and elevate its services to impress and attract tourists to return to Thailand.
Recently, MBK Public Company Limited, represented by its shopping centre business group and hotel and tourism business group, led by Ms. Praiyaporn Khaengraeng, Chief Operating Officer, MBK Public Company Limited, Mrs. Pittaya Inphirom, General Manager, The Nine Center Company Limited, and Ms. Kodchakorn Chakreyarat, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing Department, MBK Hotel & Tourism Company Limited, received the Thailand Tourism Standard 2024 award from Dr. Phonpoom Vipattipumiprates, Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports, at Meeting Room 208-209, 2nd Floor, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC).

Receiving the Thailand Tourism Standard 2024 award is a source of pride and reinforces MBK and its affiliates' commitment to developing and enhancing the quality of management and services to meet the criteria set by the Department of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism and Sports. It motivates MBK to continuously improve its businesses to create positive experiences, build trust, and impress tourists, encouraging them to return to Thailand. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports' policy to elevate Thai tourism to international standards and sustainably generate national revenue.
MBK Center and The Nine Center Rama 9 have met the criteria for the Service and Safety Standards for Tourist Malls. This includes the general characteristics of the malls, such as the readiness of the premises, convenient transportation, passenger drop-off points, electric vehicle charging stations, and parking spaces for disabled individuals. They also emphasise maximum safety management, including security systems, fire prevention and suppression systems, and evacuation planning with regular drills and practices.

Furthermore, The Nine Center Rama 9 received the Public Restroom Standards for Tourism, demonstrating cleanliness measures, convenience for general users, disabled individuals, and the elderly, as well as environmental management, safety, and service quality.


Similarly, Pathumwan Princess Hotel met the Ministry’s quality and standard criteria, receiving the Tourism Accommodation Standards for Hotels at the 5-star level. Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort received the Tourism Accommodation Standards for Resorts, ensuring excellent standards in service and comprehensive facilities, building customer trust and encouraging repeat visits.
