
As online shopping becomes an indispensable lifestyle for people of all ages in today's world, a significant partnership has been forged between “Shop Global,” Thailand’s leading TV home shopping company, and ‘LALASTATION,’ a comprehensive live commerce leader from Korea. Mr. Sorchote Ambhanwong, CEO of Shop Global (Thailand) Co., Ltd., signed the cooperation agreement with Mr.Lee Cheol-ho, CEO of LALASTATION Co., Ltd., at the recent Saha Group Fair to develop Thailand's first live commerce platform, aiming to elevate Shop Global’s business to international markets.
Shop Global, a subsidiary of Saha Group, leads the Thai market in TV home shopping by offering high-quality, unique products with outstanding service, catering to customer preferences and lifestyles in every dimension. LALASTATION is Korea's leader in comprehensive live commerce. This collaboration has resulted in the development of a new platform called “BigXShow” to meet the needs of shoppers and elevate Shop Global’s business with Thailand’s first live commerce platform. This new sales channel will complement existing ones, enhancing Shop Global’s capability to meet the diverse lifestyle needs of customers now and in the future.
Leveraging Thailand's existing comfort with online shopping's convenience and speed, the BigXShow platform aims to create an engaging and enjoyable shopping experience, allowing real-time viewing, participation, purchasing, and fast delivery, all streamlined for a fast and enjoyable journey enhanced by AI technology to offer a new customer experience. The platform will support all types of products and services, including established brands, SME products, and more. Initially, BigXShow will feature over 1,000 brands under the Saha Group umbrella, with plans to expand its product range in the future.
The live commerce platform consists of the BigXShow application, LaaS (Live Commerce as a Service), and a dedicated Live Commerce Agency Model. This one-stop shop provides everything from cutting-edge technology to compelling live content creation. BigXShow also leverages its own big data to personalise the experience, enhance product value, and optimise customer management.
The signing ceremony was honoured by prominent figures from both Korea and Thailand, including His Excellency Mr.Hahm Jeong-Hun from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Thailand, and Mr. Boonsithi Chokwatana, Chairman of Saha Group. Additionally, senior executives from key Korean organisations, such as the Korea Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, and Korea Tourism Organisation, among others also attend the event.
