
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, together with RX Tradex, will co-organise TILOG – LOGISTIX 2024 to connect the entire supply chain of logistics businesses with a bright future through the complete range of logistics service providers, logistics IT, packaging, warehouse management, and material handling. The event will connect 415 brands of technology and service providers from 25 countries with over 9,000 entrepreneurs and operators from a wide range of industry sectors in Thailand and ASEAN.
According to the 2023 International Logistics Performance Index (LPI) by the World Bank, Thailand ranked 34th out of 139 countries worldwide and is ranked 3rd after Singapore and Malaysia in the ASEAN region. Currently, Thailand has a total of 35,394 logistics business operators (Department of Business Development, May 2024), with the top five types of businesses being land transportation and pipeline systems (72.47%), freight forwarding agents and customs brokers (14%), product management (5.36%), warehousing (2.57%), and water transportation (2.23%). The value of foreign investment in the logistics business as of May 2024 was 5,808.76 million baht, accounting for 16.36% of investment in the logistics sector in Thailand. The top five foreign investors are from China, South Korea, Japan, Turkey, and Hong Kong, respectively.
Acknowledging the importance of logistics as one of the strategic industries and services that will help drive Thailand toward the goal of becoming a developed country under the current national development plan, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, together with RX Tradex, will co-organise TILOG – LOGISTIX 2024, the most comprehensive logistics event, under the theme of “Connecting the Logistics Future” to promote the Thai logistics industry’s potential, readiness, and collaboration that focus on innovation, digitalisation, and sustainability.

Throughout the three show days, TILOG – LOGISTIX will showcase a wide range of innovations, technologies and leading logistics services from five categories, comprising logistics service providers, logistics IT, packaging, warehouse management, and material handling from over 140 exhibiting companies, representing 415 brands from 25 countries, including Thailand, China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Norway, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and the United States, with a national pavilion from China as well. The event will open new opportunities for participants to expand their trade networks, exchange business knowledge and experiences, and drive the Thai logistics industry towards digitalisation and sustainability with the latest innovations.
In addition to the above showcase, the event will also host many highlighted activities, including Thailand’s Logistics Industry Exhibition to display the potential of Thailand’s logistics business and project the logistics trends and directions between 2024-2025, and the Innovation Showcase to present the cutting-edge logistics technologies that can empower operators in the modern era. There will also be notable seminars such as “Trade Logistics Symposium” organised by DITP under the theme “Exploring the Future of Logistics” to provide a platform for idea exchange about the current trade situation, logistics trends, and strategies for entrepreneurs running businesses in geopolitical changes by a panel of Thai and international speakers with years of experience. Another highlighted seminar is the "World Transport & Logistics Forum", co-organised by the World Bank and RX Tradex on the topic "Trade and Climate Change Nexus" to inform logistics operators about logistics trends around the world amidst the changing climate, as well as the opportunities and challenges arising from this issue. Apart from these, there will be many co-located seminars organised by trade associations and organisations that interested participants can attend.
