This joint investment aligns with IRPC's long-term growth strategy, responding to megatrends with advanced materials for preventive maintenance. One such innovation is the Digital Temperature Indicator, a device attached to machinery to prevent fires or damage to specific objects. The Digital Temperature Indicator is also widely used in the logistics industry for products requiring low-temperature storage, such as wine, food, and vaccines.
Kris further stated, “On 21 June 2024, the company’s committees approved the Cleantech & Beyond investment. Increasing shares is part of our strategy to expand growth and business opportunities. The research outcomes can be adapted for commercial benefits through startup businesses, enabling access to startup ecosystems and expanding our partnership network. Cleantech & Beyond Co., Ltd. is a startup established through joint research between IRPC and VISTEC to develop Digital Temperature Indicator (DTI) technology. This technology detects temperature and changes colour when exceeding controlled levels. The device connects to the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system for bulk-level assessments and acts as a data logger, efficiently monitoring equipment and product conditions via wireless communication without battery power.
