Together, they organised the “AI Transformation in Retail” event at SCBX Next Tech, Siam Paragon, to share knowledge and perspectives on AI's role in revolutionising the retail industry. This key side event of Techsauce Global Summit 2024, the largest tech event in Southeast Asia, is held under the theme “The World of Tomorrow With AI” from 7–9 August 2024, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.

Mr Axel Winter delivered a keynote speech titled “Generative AI: Shaping the Future of Employment and Business,” discussing how generative AI enhances productivity, customer interactions, and business growth.
The event featured Dr Chinawut Chinaprayoon, Executive Vice President of DEPA, who presented “AI Ecosystem for Enhancing Human Capabilities.” His talk highlighted how AI ecosystems can boost human abilities in the business sector, with a focus on AI applications for digital transformation, empowering local AI talents, attracting international talents, investing in data centres, and developing AI-driven strategies to promote Thailand’s economic growth.
Executives from Siam Piwat, DEPA, Microsoft (Thailand), Google Cloud, and Wisesight (Thailand) participated in a panel discussion titled “Unlocking New Possibilities in Retail with AI.” They explored AI's potential to transform retail, enhance customer experiences, and create unique products and services. Dr Warin Ratchananusorn, Director of the Digital Startup Institute, highlighted AI's impact on future retail models through data analysis and processing. Mr Vasupon Thankakan, Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft (Thailand), noted AI’s role in improving UX and UI design through language understanding. Mr Putti Tangtrakulwongse, Strategic Technology Lead at Google Cloud, addressed AI implementation challenges in retail, emphasising proper data management and generative AI's role in customer service development. Mr Warat Wongmaneekit, Chief Product Officer of Wisesight (Thailand), discussed AI and data's potential to enhance customer engagement across online and offline channels.
