Dheeradon Dissara will represent Thailand at Campari Red Hands Asia in Milan this November.

Campari and Alchemy Thailand hosted the Campari Red Hands Thailand 2024 bartender cocktail competition at the Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok Hotel, where Dheeradon “Gotji” Dissara, General Manager of Ray Cocktail and Bite, emerged as the winner. Dissara will now represent Thailand in the Campari Red Hands Asia 2024 competition, which will be held in Milan, Italy, in November 2024.

The event was graced by key figures, including Thanamon Suthon, Campari Group Brand Ambassador for Thailand; Supawit Muttarattana; Symphony Loo, Campari Group Regional On-Premises Manager; Arno Schonfelder, General Manager of Alchemy Thailand; Carla Porter; and Michele Montauti.

Campari Red Hands Asia 2024 marks the return of the competition after a five-year hiatus. As a celebration of Campari’s rich legacy, which includes the beloved Negroni, the competition will feature 539 of Asia’s top bartenders from 13 countries, all vying for the prestigious title of Campari Red Hands Asia Champion and a spot in the Grand Final in Milan.

The Thailand round was held on August 19, 2024, at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Bangkok, under the theme “Cocktail & Senses” in search of the next Campari cocktail for the Negroni Family Tree. The final round saw nine talented finalists out of 109 participants from across Thailand. The finalists included Piyapat Polnai (Bar Scofflaws, Bangkok), Thanat Tangroungsin (Bar Us, Bangkok), Nattapach Kaewpeacharawanich (Dry Wave Cocktail Studio, Bangkok), Julie Nguyen (Opium Bar, Bangkok), Pongskorn Ruangjun (Overgrown Lounge & Cocktail Bar, Phuket), Noppasate Hirunwathit (Rabbit Hole, Bangkok), Dheeradon Dissara (Ray Cocktail and Bite), Maipimol Suepayak (Rouge Affair Bar, Bangkok), and Siriwan Sinpan (The O.S.S. Bar, Bangkok). They competed in front of a judging panel led by Symphony Loo and Thanamon Suthon.

Dheeradon Dissara’s victory now paves the way for his journey to Milan, where he will showcase his skills on an international stage, competing against the best bartenders from across Asia.
