Nishitetsu Group, also known as The Nishi-Nippon Railroad Company, Ltd., opened its first ‘CROOM’ brand hotel outside Japan—Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Bangkok Silom—on 9th September 2024. Located in the bustling Silom area, one of Bangkok’s central business districts, this marks the group’s second hotel in the city, following the launch of Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Bangkok in 2020.
Nishitetsu Group, headquartered in Fukuoka, is one of Japan's 'Big 16' private railroad companies. In addition to its core business in railways, the group operates buses, supermarkets, real estate, travel agencies, and manages hotels, logistics, and distribution services globally. The new hotel in Silom is strategically situated near the MRT (Subway) and BTS (Skytrain), offering guests convenient access to key business and tourism hubs.
Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Bangkok Silom features 172 rooms across six room types, catering to both business and leisure travellers. Room options include double-bedded and twin-bedded rooms, with select accommodations offering kitchens, washing machines, or dedicated workspaces, ideal for long-stay guests. The hotel’s dedicated staff ensures a comfortable and personalised stay for all visitors.
The breakfast restaurant on the B1 floor serves a buffet with Japanese, Western, and Thai dishes, including Thai-style curry. Specialities from Fukuoka, the hotel group’s origin, such as Tonkotsu noodles, Mentaiko, and Chikuzen-ni, are among the highlights. The restaurant can also function as a co-working space, and a meeting room equipped with a 55-inch monitor is available for meetings, seminars, and various events.
Reservations for Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Bangkok Silom are open from 14:00 on 16 August, with a limited-time opening offer available on the official website at https://nnr-h.com/croom/bangkoksilom/. Nishitetsu Group plans to further expand the 'CROOM' brand and increase the 'Nishitetsu' presence by continuing to open new hotels in Japan and internationally, catering to a growing customer base.
