Thai Union Group supports flood victims in northern and northeastern Thailand with essential supplies, nutritious food, and volunteer aid through its “Thai Union Cares for Flood Victims” initiative.

Thai Union Group PCL, the global leader in seafood, has launched its "Thai Union Cares for Flood Victims" initiative to support communities devastated by the recent floods in northern and northeastern Thailand. Collaborating with the Buaphet Rescue Association in Pathum Thani province, the company has donated essential supplies, including nutritious food, to those affected.

“At Thai Union, we deeply care about our communities and understand the importance of offering support during times of crisis,” said Mr. Thiraphong Chansiri, CEO of Thai Union Group PCL. "We are committed to providing immediate relief through the donation of items like SEALECT tuna, tuna spread with crackers, and other essentials, working closely with government agencies, private sector organisations, and volunteers to help alleviate suffering and restore hope."

As part of its relief efforts, Thai Union donated 15,000 cans of SEALECT tuna, 9,600 cans of SEALECT Canned Tuna Chilli Paste, 2,400 boxes of SEALECT Tuna Spread with Crackers, 7,200 boxes of soy milk, and 7,735 ready-to-eat meals. Additionally, a 30,000 baht fuel voucher was provided to support rescue teams. Ms. Punjaporn Koosamarth, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Communications, and Ms. Wisaka Chantakij, Department Manager of Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility, along with the Thai Union team, personally delivered the supplies and helped pack 1,200 relief packages at the Buaphet Rescue Association in Pathum Thani province.
