For the first time ever, Daumier ‘Dom’ Corilla from the Philippines has made history by winning the Mister Global 2024 title during the 10th edition of the Mister Global pageant. Held in Bangkok on 6th October 2024 by Thailand-based TPN Global Group, the event saw 33 contestants from across the globe compete, with Corilla's groundbreaking victory marking a milestone for his country.
A new tradition debuted this year with the presentation of the Blazer of Fame, awarded to Corilla by Dr Nalikatibhag Sangsnit, Advisory Chairman of the Mister Global Organization. Dr Nalikatibhag, also a Director at The One Enterprise PCL, emphasised that the Mister Global Organization is elevating male pageantry by welcoming "Gentlemen with Essence" and focusing on four key pillars: celebrating the dignity of gentlemen, promoting leadership, supporting social impact, and upholding an elegant and polished physical presence.
One contestant praised the pageant’s dedication to fairness and inclusion, stating, “Your unwavering commitment to fairness, inclusion, and excellence has set a new standard, showing the world that Mister Global values integrity above all else.” This statement reflects the organisation's mission to offer a fair and inclusive platform, celebrating talent and effort without barriers of race, culture, or nationality.
Behind Dom Corilla’s historic win is a story of perseverance and passion. Born and raised in the Philippines, Dom later moved to the United States for college, working various jobs before finding success in modelling and acting. His passion for basketball and film, along with his resilience, paved the way to this remarkable achievement. As Mister Global 2024, Dom will now work alongside the organisation to further its mission while pursuing his personal goals.
