SolarEdge Technologies, a global leader in smart energy technology, has announced the availability of its Three-phase SolarEdge Home ecosystem in Thailand. This comprehensive solution is designed to optimise energy savings, storage, and backup capabilities for homeowners, featuring the SolarEdge Home Hub Inverter, SolarEdge Power Optimisers, SolarEdge Home Battery, and SolarEdge Home Backup Interface. The system is managed via the mySolarEdge app, enabling homeowners to monitor, control, and optimise solar production, energy use, and carbon reduction seamlessly.
Building on the success of SolarEdge’s single-phase solution launched in 2023, the new three-phase backup system addresses the needs of larger Thai homes. It offers reliable power both on and off the grid. The SolarEdge 10kW Home Hub Inverter, combined with the SolarEdge Home Battery 48V and Backup Interface, provides up to 10kW of backup power with an initial 5kWh battery capacity. The system is scalable, allowing additional battery modules to be stacked for up to 23kWh of storage.
With DC-coupled battery architecture, the SolarEdge Home system achieves industry-leading efficiency of 95.4%, reducing energy losses by eliminating multiple power conversions typical in AC-coupled systems. Its 200% DC oversizing capability ensures greater energy production over its lifetime.
Safety is a priority, with advanced built-in features such as SafeDC™ and arc fault detection & termination functionality, ensuring compliance with stringent safety regulations, including EIT mandatory standards.
For installers, the system is designed for ease of use, with plug-and-play wireless connectivity reducing installation time and complexity.
“We are thrilled to bring one of the most advanced solar and energy storage solutions to the Thai market,” said Weeruj Techasuwanna, Country Manager for Thailand at SolarEdge Technologies. “This solution underscores our commitment to delivering innovative, safe, and reliable energy solutions that empower homeowners while supporting a sustainable future.”
