In a heartfelt display of youthful compassion, talented young performers from across Thailand are coming together for the charity performance Aladdin 2024. Scheduled for Sunday, 15th December 2024, at Chiang Mai University Convention Centre, the production aims to raise funds for underprivileged and orphaned youth.
The main cast features a blend of exceptional Thai and international ballet dancers who have earned accolades on global stages, including Patchisa Pakdeewong, Ramon Chuajedton, Trong Rattanadumrongaksorn, Timarin Wing Holmes, and Gorboon Sriyabhaya. Joining them as honorary performers are Pakin Ploypicha and Wuttipong Mongkolphan from Bangkok City Ballet and Passion Dance School. Young artists from Chiang Mai Ballet Academy, a school recognised for its royal honour as a model institution in ASEAN, will also grace the stage.
Under the artistic direction of Dr Mom Luang Preeyapun Sridhavat, President of the ATOD Children & Youth Development Association, the event promises a magical production of nearly two hours, with showtimes at 12:00 and 15:00. The proceeds will support the Chalermprakiet 48th Anniversary School, under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
The event is made possible through the generous support of sponsors, including The Government Lottery Office, The Australian Teachers of Dancing International, Taokaenoi Food & Marketing Public Company Limited, and others.
