Dubbed “Southeast Asia’s EV Pioneer,” Thailand’s electric vehicle (EV) market has made significant strides over the years, achieving a six percent growth in the first 10 months of 2024, despite a global slowdown in EV adoption.

In a panel discussion hosted by the Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) at the recent Bangkok Motor Expo, Bosch underscored its commitment to Thailand's automotive industry through long-term investments in technology, supporting the nation's transition towards future mobility. The panel, which included representatives from Thailand’s Board of Investment, Mercedes-Benz, and Umicore, highlighted the importance of adaptability and flexibility in addressing evolving market conditions, technological advancements, and shifting consumer preferences.
“The transformation of Thailand’s automotive industry requires agility as the dynamic EV market continues to evolve. Bosch is optimistic about the government’s support in bolstering the industry,” said Joseph Hong, Managing Director of Bosch Thailand and Laos.
