Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited recently hosted a high-level delegation from the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) at its headquarters in M Tower, sharing insights on innovation, sustainability, and energy transition. The session was part of the High-Impact Leadership Program, organised by the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in partnership with CNI, focusing on "Industry Growth, Technology, Innovation, and Future Opportunities in an Uncertain Global Environment."
Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President of Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications at Bangchak, welcomed the delegation led by Dr. Bindhu Lohani, Board of Trustees, AIT, and delivered a presentation titled “Leading the Energy Transition: Bangchak’s Journey of Innovation and Sustainability.”
During the session, Mrs. Gloyta outlined Bangchak’s strategic evolution from Thailand’s smallest refinery into a leading transnational energy conglomerate in the Asia Pacific. She highlighted the company’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and clean energy solutions, reinforcing its role in shaping the future of the energy sector.
Bangchak’s sustainability efforts align with His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, which guides the company in balancing business growth with environmental and social responsibility. The company has actively embraced energy transition initiatives, focusing on renewable energy, biofuels, and emerging technologies to drive sustainable development.
