
Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited has been recognised as a global sustainability leader in the Oil & Gas Refining and Marketing Industry, earning the top rank in The Sustainability Yearbook 2025 by S&P Global. This accolade places Bangchak in the top 1% worldwide, reflecting its outstanding performance in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.
According to Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Bangchak Corporation, the company achieved an impressive total score of 85 out of 100 in the 2024 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), with the highest marks in Governance and Environment dimensions. "Bangchak has achieved the highest sustainability ranking in our industry worldwide. In addition to this recognition, we have also been honoured as an Industry Mover, awarded for achieving the most significant sustainability progress among 43 global companies in our sector," he said.
S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook is regarded as a benchmark for corporate sustainability, assessing companies across 62 industries globally. In 2024, a total of 7,690 companies participated in the assessment. Bangchak’s consistent performance has earned it a spot in the yearbook for ten consecutive years, reaffirming its status as a leader in sustainable business practices.
This recognition underscores Bangchak’s commitment to integrating ESG principles across its operations and maintaining a balance between business growth and environmental stewardship. In addition to its core refinery and marketing businesses, Bangchak has expanded its sustainability-driven initiatives, embracing innovations that contribute to a low-carbon future.
