Recognising exceptional business leadership and contributions to national development, Ramkhamhaeng University awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration for the 2022–2023 academic year to Mr Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, on 12 February 2025.
The degree was presented by Mr Palakorn Suwannarat, Privy Councillor, as the royal representative of His Majesty the King, during the university’s commencement ceremony at the King Ramkhamhaeng the Great Auditorium, Ramkhamhaeng University, Hua Mak Campus, Bangkok.
This prestigious recognition highlights Mr Chaiwat’s extensive expertise and exceptional leadership in navigating Bangchak Group’s growth while fostering sustainable business practices. His contributions span beyond the corporate sphere, reflecting a deep commitment to social and national development. Mr Chaiwat has been a key advocate for sustainability, aligning Bangchak’s business operations with environmental and social responsibility initiatives, earning him widespread recognition for advancing the public good.
Under his leadership, Bangchak Group has become a benchmark for innovation and sustainability in the energy sector, contributing significantly to Thailand’s green transformation efforts.
