Highlights at ThaiBev’s Booth
ThaiBev’s booth featured a captivating display themed around water and forest ecosystems, reflecting its commitment to sustainable water management from the source to end-users. The goal is to replenish 100% of the water used in beverage production back to nature and communities by 2040. This initiative is supported by a partnership with the Mae Fah Luang Foundation, which helps protect over 100,000 rai of community forests that aid in water retention and flood prevention. Additionally, ThaiBev has been recognised by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its net-zero greenhouse gas emissions target by 2050.
The booth was divided into several themed zones:
-
GLOBAL FOOTPRINT Zone: Showcasing ThaiBev’s leadership in the comprehensive beverage business, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, with a distribution network spanning over 90 countries worldwide. This includes 30 distilleries, 30 breweries, and 31 non-alcoholic beverage factories.
-
WATER REPLENISHMENT Zone: Featuring a touch-screen display presenting notable nature and wetland restoration projects, including community water management initiatives in collaboration with the Hydro Informatics Institute (HII), as well as over 33 clean drinking water projects for children and communities across 11 provinces. Clean water projects in Thailand, Myanmar, and Vietnam were also highlighted, along with solar-powered irrigation systems for farmers in Myanmar.
-
QUALITY OF LIFE Zone: Highlighting ThaiBev’s initiatives that improve quality of life while supporting water conservation, such as the River Festival, a collaborative effort between the government, private sector, and volunteers to conduct canal clean-ups supported by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. Other projects include waste management initiatives like the “Collect and Recycle” campaign, marine resource restoration, and the Island Model for waste management on islands.
-
SMART FACTORY Zone: Showcasing automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), which are now fully operational in warehouses in Malaysia and regional distribution centres in Thailand, improving efficiency and modernising logistics.
-

Projects include biogas production, biomass fuel adoption, and solar panel installations on factory rooftops and water surfaces (floating solar), supporting ThaiBev’s Net Zero sustainability goals.
