The upcoming “Architect’25”, a premier international exposition centered around sustainable design organized by the Association of Siamese Architects under the Royal Patronage (ASA), is set to present a comprehensive array of exhibitions and special activities. Emphasizing the importance of intergenerational knowledge exchange, the event will also feature the ASA International Forum 2025, where prominent international architects will share their experiences, exchange knowledge, and inspire attendees. “Reviewing Direction: Past Present Perfect”
Architect’25 is scheduled to take place from April 29 to May 4, 2025, at Challenger Hall, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. The 37th edition of ASEAN’s premier building technology exposition is held under the concept “Reviewing Direction: Past Present Perfect”, emphasizing the significance of architecture and the roles of architects in every narrative, from the past to the present, and into the future through a series of exhibitions and activities. A diverse range of special activities is being prepared for architectural professionals, designers, students, and the general public. Among the highlights are the ASA International Forum and the ASA Professional Seminar, which emphasize intergenerational knowledge exchange, with the aim of fostering inspiration.
ASA International Forum 2025
The ASA International Forum 2025 will be held on May 3-4, 2025. This presents a valuable opportunity for those interested in architectural design to come together, learn from, and exchange experiences with renowned architects. Attendees will also have the chance to admire the works of renowned Thai and international architects and designers, including Junya Ishigami, the founder of the architectural firm junya Ishigami + associates, an inspiration to designers across Asia, who will speak on the topic “My Works” on May 3, 2025. Also speaking on the same day is Kulapat Yantrasast, the founder and creative director of WHY Architecture, with offices in Thailand and the USA, who will present on “Design the Life Not the Form.”
Another distinguished speaker is Bill Bensley, the founder and creative director of BENSLEY, a world-renowned landscape architecture design firm, who will speak on “Don’t Put Me in a Box” on May 4, 2025. Lastly, Mathar ‘Lek’ Bunnag, the founder and managing director of Bunnag Architects International Consultants which specializes in international architectural design, will share his experiences on the topic “Nothing comes from nothing” Parmenides, a Greek philosopher in the 5th century BC.”, also on May 4, 2025. The ASA Professional Seminar 2025 will invite Thai experts from various fields to share their experiences and valuable insights relevant to the current architectural profession. The seminar will feature prominent speakers who are leading Thai experts, such as Smith Obayawat, Niwat Aunprueng, and Assistant Professor Pirast Pacharaswate. The ASA Professional Seminar 2025 will be held on May 1, 2025, with three sessions from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
