Chachoengsao, 9 May 2025 – Chia Tai Company Limited, Thailand’s leading innovative agricultural company, has officially launched the “Chia Tai Experience”, also known as the Chia Tai Agricultural Center, in Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao Province. This new centre is designed to enhance the capabilities of Thai farmers by integrating knowledge, advanced technology, and agricultural management to support sustainable farming and improve farmers' quality of life. The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with leading partners such as XAG and Yanmar S.P. Co., Ltd., delivering comprehensive smart agricultural solutions.
The “Chia Tai Experience” was established as part of Chia Tai’s new mission as a solution provider for Thai agriculture. The centre’s launch marks the first operational site under the banner “Transforming Thai Rice Fields into Fields of Gold.” The initiative combines agricultural expertise, products, technology, services, and consultation to strengthen Thai farmers’ productivity and sustainability.
The centre’s services currently extend to five provinces under a crop management plan project:
- Chachoengsao (Khlong Khuean, Ban Pho, Plaeng Yao, Bang Khla, Paet Riw, and Phanomsarakham Districts)
- Nakhon Nayok (Ban Na and Ongkharak Districts)
- Prachinburi (Mueang and Ban Sang Districts)
- Pathum Thani (Lam Luk Ka District)
- Bangkok (Nong Chok District)

Mr. Manas Chiaravanond, Chief Executive Officer of Chia Tai Company Limited, said the launch of the “Chia Tai Experience” represents an important milestone in the company’s transformation into a provider of holistic agricultural solutions. The centre reflects Chia Tai’s commitment to improving farmers’ quality of life and promoting sustainable agriculture by offering support across the production cycle—from planting to harvesting—with the help of cutting-edge technology and equipment.
“This centre is a strategic effort to foster sustainable partnerships and empower farmers—especially rice farmers, who are the backbone of Thailand’s agricultural sector—to become professionals. By strengthening their knowledge and skillsets, we aim to transform traditional agriculture into a stable, respected profession, attract younger generations back to farming, and improve farmers’ livelihoods across all dimensions.”
The initiative also allows participating farmers to develop customised crop management plans, tailored to their land conditions and specific challenges. These plans enable better control over production costs and help farmers achieve their yield targets—turning every field into a true “field of gold.” The programme also creates new employment opportunities, such as positions for drone pilots in the Chia Tai drone operation team, a role central to enhancing local economic resilience.

Guided by the concept “Better Fields, Better Income, Better Life,” Chia Tai plans to expand the programme to additional areas and diversify the crop types included in the project.
“The launch of Chia Tai Experience responds to the evolving needs of modern farmers,” Mr. Manas added. “By offering expert consultation and promoting appropriate technology, we aim to be a key force in driving Thai agriculture into the era of smart farming, solving real problems and helping farmers add value through professional crop management.”
In addition to offering hands-on learning in advanced agricultural practices, the centre serves as a training venue for farmer groups, a Drone Academy for the Chia Tai drone team, and houses the XAG Thailand Service Center—the first certified service centre for agricultural drones and equipment in Thailand and Southeast Asia, providing maintenance services to all farmers.

The launch event also marked a key milestone in the collaboration formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Chia Tai Co., Ltd., XAG, and Yanmar S.P. Co., Ltd. The agreement underscores a shared commitment to advancing smart agriculture through innovation, job creation, and enhanced farming efficiency—ultimately driving sustainable development in the Thai agricultural sector.
Chia Tai believes that the “Chia Tai Experience” will be the starting point of meaningful transformation—improving farmers’ livelihoods and helping to shape the future of agriculture in Thailand.
