Siam Piwat Group, the operator of Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Discovery, and co-developer of ICONSIAM, has partnered with global technology leader Huawei to enhance Thailand’s appeal to high-spending international tourists—particularly Chinese Free Independent Travellers (FITs). Through this collaboration, Siam Piwat becomes the first Thai retail group to integrate its ONESIAM Global Visitor Card with Huawei’s HarmonyOS, connecting to over 400 million smartphone users in China.
The partnership allows users to register for the card via Huawei’s Quick App, granting access to exclusive privileges from over 150 global brands. These benefits span shopping, wellness, transport, lifestyle, and personalised services throughout the travel journey—pre-trip, during-trip, and post-trip. This initiative strengthens Siam Piwat’s strategy of co-creation and collaboration to deliver extraordinary, tech-enabled experiences while supporting Thailand’s economic and tourism recovery.
Mrs Amporn Chotirasakul, President – Business Support, Siam Piwat, emphasised the shared vision to create value and elevate quality tourism through digital integration. Huawei will support the initiative with services including Quick App, Petal Ads, and Skytone, offering digital travel tools and privileges to both inbound Chinese tourists and outbound Thai travellers.
Key partners include Thai Airways, Kempinski Hotels, Grab, Merlin Entertainments (SEA LIFE Bangkok), Meridian Cruise, Mistine, Jim Thompson, Dear Tummy, ICONCRAFT, and SOOKSIAM, creating a seamless premium experience that blends Thai heritage with global convenience. The initiative is also supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, highlighting effective public-private collaboration.
This alliance positions Thailand more prominently on the tourism radar, aligning with Siam Piwat’s long-term commitment to establishing Thailand as a Global Destination through innovation, visionary partnerships, and sustainable economic growth.
