If you're a golfer, a scuba diver or an addict of outdoor activities hunting for new gear, it's wise to wait until next month when the Thailand Golf & Dive Expo and the Traveller Expo take place.
Both events will be held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Bitec) on Oct 1-4. The first event is divided into two zones, one dedicated to golfing and the other to diving. Promotions from golf courses and various brands of golf equipment as well as golf-related clothes and footwear can be found in the first zone. For every 2,000 baht you spend, you can join in the "One putt per 100,000 baht" contest. So who knows, you might walk out of the fair with a fatter pocket than when you arrive.
In the diving zone, related services and products, from diving courses and trip packages to diving equipment and accessories to underwater cameras will be available. There will also be an exhibition of entries to the 15th TDEX Underwater Photo Contest.

As for the Traveller Expo, there you will find a variety of travel packages and special offers on accommodation, trekking, camping, climbing and cycling equipment for you to choose from.
