Soho House to open in Bangkok in December
Soho House is finally making its way to Southeast Asia with Soho House Bangkok, which is slated to open in December. It's situated on Sukhumvit 31 in the charming colonial-style structure that formerly housed the Eugenia Hotel.
Soho House is a member's club for people working in creative industries and was founded by Nick Jones in 1995. It currently has 38 residences across the world, along with restaurants, workspaces through Soho Work, and interiors and retail brand Soho Home.
Each House is created to be a home away from home for locals, with decor, furnishings, artwork, food, and drinks reflecting the distinctive and individual characteristics of the neighbourhood, culture, and art scene of its city. "I have wanted to expand Soho House in Southeast Asia for a long time, so this is an exciting moment for me and our members everywhere. To have a truly diverse and inclusive global membership, we need to represent cultures and creative communities from all parts of the world. Bangkok has such a vibrant and progressive energy, full of Thai warmth and kindness, and I can't wait to welcome members from the city into our new house," said founder and CEO Nick Jones of Soho House.

In Bangkok, members may access the House through the atrium and reception area to unwind and sip drinks in the Garden Bar's outdoor area during the day. The Lounge Bar, which serves light nibbles and has darker colour tones, is perfect for the evening.
Both bars are located in the Pool Garden, a lush green space in the centre of Soho House Bangkok with distinctive marble flooring that leads into a 12m pool. To emphasise the city's many local crafts, Soho House Design used silk fabrics, regional ceramics, local wood joinery, and Thai architectural features to create the interiors of The House. The interiors' tropical motifs and the property's liberal use of native plants give off the impression of a tranquil haven in the middle of a metropolis.
Every House membership permits the member to visit Soho Houses worldwide, while local House membership grants access to Soho House Bangkok. Members can connect with other members wherever they are in the world by using the SH.APP (Soho House app).
