Official description

There is one important thing I always expect from a pool villa: complete privacy. To me it’s even more important than the size or design of the pool. Rarely, however, have I found any that really fit the bill.

Trisara earns a high place on my shortlist of properties that offer pool villas the way they are supposed to be—a world of your own where you can walk, swim or do any other activities without having to worry about prying eyes.

Apart from the 22 one-bedroom villas, all of which share the same size (240m2) and layout but are priced differently depending on how far they are from the beach, the resort also offers two two-bedroom villas and 15 rooms and suites. Although all types come with a pool, it’s worth paying the extra for the privacy of a villa, especially if you are on honeymoon.

The property is situated on a secluded headland on the northwestern side of the island, just 15 minutes or so by car from the airport. It boasts a private beach but is pretty far from Patong and other entertainment areas. But then, why venture anywhere else when you’ve already paid for such a nice villa?

The resort’s spa offers a host of treatments, from Thai massage to its signature six-hand massage conducted by three masseuses. The 60-minute Trisara Oil Massage I tried was relaxing.

The Ocean View Pool Villa costs 16,990 baht net per night. A discount is available for residents of Thailand. Call the resort or check out its website for special deals.
