Editorial Reviews

With so many impressive choices available, choosing a hotel in Chiang Mai can be a tough task, especially if you plan to go there for romance. But if you do not have time for research and what you need is just a nice and safe room in a convenient location, a long-established, yet inexpensive property like the Centara Duangtawan is a sure bet.

I stayed at the hotel twice over the past couple of months, once in a superior room and on another occasion in a junior suite, which are depicted in the accompanying photos. The suite is part of the Dynasty Club that occupies the building's 23rd and 24th floors. Guests of the club have access to an executive lounge where snacks and meals are served all day and free Internet connection is available.
