Official description

Mae Wong National Park was a centre of hill tribes for example Hmong, Yao, Muzer and Karen. The park was declared a national park on September 14, 1987 as the 55th park of Thailand. It has a diverse ecosystem consisting of rain forest, wildlife, reptiles, prominent birds and common mammals that can be explored and observed. The park is very rugged and hilly along Tanon Thong Chai mountain range. The park also offers dense jungle vegetation, hiking, white water rafting and canoe, beautiful jungle vegetation, hiking and camping in the area. Many attractions to see on the local community and general region.
