Official description

Khao Yai National Park consists of intricate mountains such as Khao Rom, the highest which stands about 1,351 metres, Khao Lam about 1,326 metres, Khao Keaw about 1,292 metres, Khao Sam Yod about 1,142 metres, Khao Far Pha about 1,078 metres, Khao Kampang about 875 metres, Khao Samor Poon about 805 metres and Khao Kaew about 802 metres above sea level. It has an expanse of grassy fields alternating with productive forests. The area is the source of five main rivers: Prachin Buri River, Nakhon Nayok River, Lam Ta Kong River, Praplerng River and Muag Lek Stream.
