Eat, little angel, eat....(video)
Infant-like so-called luk thep (child angel) dolls are the most recent fad in Thailand. The new superstitious trend involves carrying, talking to and caring for these factory-made dolls.
Many of the owners believe the dolls hold an angel's spirit inside them, and that they bring good luck, wealth, blessings and protection from harm.
Watch how people (and dogs) interacted with the luk thep dolls and their owners in different scenarios in this compilation video, gathered from social media websites this week.
At the end of the video, revered monk Phra Phayom Kalayano comments on the Luk Thep trend.
