UK Bing users looking for Tulisa Contostavlos, US searches for Kim Kardashian

According to a November 26 report by search engine Bing, Tulisa Contostavlos was the most searched for person in 2012 on Bing UK, while Kim Kardashian took the top spot in the USA.

Whereas last year the top three most people on Bing UK were Americans, namely Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga, this year users of the search engine were looking for fellow Brits, singer Tulisa Contostavlos, the Duchess of Cambridge, and singer/model Cheryl Cole. Other popular people to search for among Bing UK users were singer Whitney Houston, who died earlier this year, teenage pop star Justin Bieber and Twilight actor Robert Pattinson.

Over on Bing US, Kim Kardashian took the top spot, replacing last year's number one, Justin Bieber, who fell to second place, while Miley Cyrus, last year's number 10, jumped into the third spot. Rihanna came in fourth place for the second year running, followed by Lindsay Lohan, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Aniston, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift.
