The Pla Buek Catfish Breeding and Conservation Fair is held at the Hat Krai village in Chiang Khong district from May 18-30. The annual event is a great opportunity to learn all about the various catfish that can be found in Mekong River. It is also a chance to enjoy tasting the many different varieties in a massive culinary feast that is held along the riverside.
