The Bangkok Post's CEO of the Year 2021 competition recognises the corporate leaders who are leading their companies and industries in terms of strategic vision and success. In recognising these leaders, we hope to challenge and inspire others.

In the so-called "new normal", it is clear that how executives identify, analyse and navigate market hurdles and challenges is more critical than ever. This competition will feature 30 awards offered to Thailand's top corporate leaders as selected by Bangkok Post readers.

Application closed: 16 August 2021

Public submit names for the competition online.

Selection Period

Award nominees will be shortlisted and screened by a nomination committee chaired by the Editor of the Bangkok Post.

Nominees announced: 18 October 2021

Voting Period

Finalists will be announced for final selection by Bangkok Post readers.

The Bangkok Post announces the winners as selected by readers.

Nominee Qualifications

  • Chief executive officer, president or equivalent for a minimum of one year
  • Organisation must be headquartered in Thailand
  • Open to both Thai and foreign nationals
  • Must show leadership and vision in adapting their organisation to the new digital economy
  • Must show commitment to principles of good corporate governance, sustainability and community wellbeing
  • Must show a track record in delivering value to stakeholders

FAQ

Can I nominate myself for the award?
Answer: Yes. Nominations may be made by anyone, including the individual themselves, company colleagues, customers or the general public.
Answer: Yes. However, we suggest that submissions be made for a category that most directly reflects the nominee's expertise. In any case, an individual may not be nominated for more than two categories.
Answer: The nomination committee will short-list the candidates based on criteria set by the Bangkok Post. The winners will be determined by public vote.
Answer: The Bangkok Post will inform nominees by email before announcing the final candidates.
Answer: There is no cost for participation
