Nestled in the heart of Bangkok, Hotel Nikko Bangkok is a new deluxe property in Thonglor area which is described as a Japanese town. The neighbourhood is also dubbed the hippest district in Asia with a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops. In addition to being in this lively part of town, the hotel is also convenient just few steps away from Thonglor BTS Skytrain station or only 2 minutes walk from the hotel, and the Suvarnabhumi International Airport is 24 kilometres away or only 40 minutes by car.

Welcoming guests with unique Japanese hospitality, Hotel Nikko Bangkok opened its door in January 2019 with 301 spacious guest rooms and suites, all furnished with Wi-Fi internet and en suite bedrooms. The modern Japanese style interior with an off-white base tone and the graceful warmth of Thai decor is designed to elicit a tranquil air and homely comfort. The wooden headboard above each bed has an engraved floral design in Thai traditional style that is lit from behind and covered with laminate on the front, glowing gently when turning on the light. Each room also features uniquely designed Japanese style bathroom or an independent toilet room with TOTO Washlet toilet and a private bathroom with a bathtub and luxurious PAÑPURI bath amenities to suit all travelers.

The 22-storey hotel’s facilities include four restaurants and lounges including HISHOU, the hotel’s signature Japanese restaurant featuring a sake and tempura bar and offering an extensive a la carte menu of fine Japanese cuisine, along with special set lunches with Obanzai buffet, bento sets and set dinner menus. A full Japanese buffet breakfast is available every day at Hishou. There are also The OASIS, the casual all-day dining restaurant with an international breakfast also lunch and dinner buffet; CURVE 55-THE LOBBY LOUNGE, the executive lounge for distinguished travellers; and THE POOL BAR. The fully-equipped 24 hour fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool are also available.

Perfectly positioned for conferences, product launches, meetings, weddings, gala dinners and a variety of special events, the hotel features 10 different function rooms in various sizes with a capacity from 10 to 1,200 persons to accommodate for small to large functions. The biggest one, the Fuji Grand Ballroom, is sized 850 square metres with 8-metre high ceiling and no pillars to cater all creativities. It is able to host 1,200 people for cocktails and 500 people for dinner functions.

“Our ballroom is the largest in the Thonglor neighbourhood. With state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment, we are expecting wedding business in our hotel as there are no such big-sized ballroom nearby.”

Jo Sato adds, “As a Japanese hotel brand, we focus on Japanese style hospitality which we call Omotenashi. Normally, in Thailand everybody uses Wai style for greeting. In our hotel, we choose a bowing style to greet the guest, to show our hospitality. We combine Thai and Japanese hospitality together--Thai smiling and Japanese bowing which creates a good atmosphere--to welcome guest.”
