RMUTT presents Double Degree for business undergraduate and MBA with Chinese and UK universities

The Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), has created a “Double Degree” signing MOUs with international universities. The “Double Degree 2+2” includes international Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Administration with Wuhan University, the People’s Republic of China, and international Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management with University of Derby.

The “Double Degree 1+1” for MBA students is in partnership with the University of Northampton, the United Kingdom.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Nartraphee Chaimongkol, Dean of Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, revealed that: “The Faculty is committed to developing a modern, up-to-date curriculum due to the ever-changing technology and trade world. Therefore, experiences and internships abroad have become a necessity for students. Currently, we provide 50,000-baht scholarships for internship abroad and 30,000-baht scholarships for cultural exchanges. The Faculty of Business Administration has partnered and signed MOUs with many leading educational institutes across Asia and Europe.”

"Parents and students will have more opportunities to increase potential. The planned Double Degree programme started in 2018 and the first achievement was the MOU for Double Degree 2+2 with Wuhan University in the People’s Republic of China. Wuhan University ranks in the top 5 in China, is renowned for its business education, and has a lot of graduates who become successful businesspersons.”

For Double Degree 2+2, students will study the first year at RMUTT, go to Wuhan University in their second and third year, and come back to RMUTT for their final year. They will learn business practices in China, Chinese language, and Chinese culture. They will also be able to do internship in China if they want to. The cost for their dormitory at Wuhan University is about 23,000 yuan or 100,000 baht per year. Meanwhile, there will be about 30 Chinese students who will come to the Faculty of Business Administration as well.

“The Faculty also has a Double Degree 2+2 for students in international Bachelor’s programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management where students will study at RMUTT in the first and second year and go to the University of Derby in the third and fourth year. It also provides an internship opportunity in the UK. Another is Double Degree 1+1 for MBA students where the Faculty signed an MOU with the University of Northampton. In the academic year 2020, the Faculty will promote all three Double Degree programmes to students because it will give them an advantage of obtaining two degrees in the same amount of time,” said Dean Nartraphee.
