Thai stocks opened down 1.85% at the start of trade this morning.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index opened at 1,540.55 points, down 29.00 points from Friday's close. The trade value was 6.76 billion baht with 1.37 billion shares traded.

The SET50 index opened at 1,036.95 points, down 22.87 points or 2.16%, with a total trade value of 4.81 billion baht.

The MAI index went down 4.43 point or 1.44% to stand at 302.17 points with total transaction value of 60 million baht.
