Tops and Central Food Hall reinforced their stringent hygiene and sanitation protocols, from source to shelf, with the highest level of safety measures. The Fresh Distribution Center has been certified with FSSC 22000 version 5, an internationally recognised food safety certification.

The fresh seafood products at Tops and Central Food Hall are sourced from safe sources certified by the Department of Fisheries, delivered from farm to warehouse, with strict quality check and ozone or chlorine sanitation process to kill viruses and bacteria in the products, in line with standards of the Department of Fisheries and the Food and Drug Administration.

The production and delivery process follows the recommended guidelines of the Good Manufacturing Practice and fully adheres to the guidelines of the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration.

At Central Food distribution centres, employees and visitors must pass temperature screening, change their attire and footwear, and pass the sanitation process before entering the Center.
