Sala Hospitality Group has announced its latest resort, the Sala Bang Pa-in in Ayutthaya, scheduled to open on May 1 with 70% reservations expected within the first three months.
The resort has an investment budget of 300 million baht and is targeted at historically-minded Thai tourists.
Sala Bang Pa-in will become Sala Group's ninth property in Thailand and the fifth of its Sala boutique brand, a portfolio of intimate hotels in picturesque locations, many of which are of historical significance.

Sala Bang Pa-in has 24 deluxe rooms and pool villas, 10 villas that open onto riverside terraces with daybeds and private pools. The top room category is the three-bedroom river-view presidential pool villa, offering 484 square metres of indoor and al fresco living space.
Rooms at Sala Bang Pa-in start at 5,180 baht net per night, including breakfast and river transfer to the Summer Palace.
