King Power Group is ready to improve the country's economy by focusing on tourism in line with the launch of the Phuket sandbox.
King Power's campaign called "Shop, Eat, Play, Stay Safe" offers benefits and discounts at all King Power duty-free shops, accommodation, restaurants and attractions. It is also using football players from Leicester City FC to promote Phuket.
King Power routinely participates in national tourism campaigns, including the "Thailand Smiles With You" project.
"Our latest contribution is the participation in the tourism campaign 'Phuket Is Now Open', which is organised under the 'Amazing Thailand, Now Even More Amazing' concept," said Apichet Srivaddhanaprabha, assistant chief operating officer of King Power Group.
"This campaign makes use of sport to promote tourism through three football players from Leicester City FC, this year's FA Cup champions."
They appear in a video titled Amazing Moments In Phuket, which will be broadcast on foreign media to attract travellers to visit as the island reopens.
Tourists will receive a number of discounts at the King Power duty-free store at Phuket airport and other locations on the island.
