Hotel developer Dusit International opened its latest hotel today, known as the DusitD2 Hua Hin, in the hope that tourism arrivals will pick up soon.

Located just a 7-minute walk from Hua Hin's main beach and local attractions like the Cicada Market and Bluport Hua Hin Resort Mall, the hotel contains 152 rooms and suites in total ranging from 30 to 92 square metres, including select rooms equipped with pet-friendly amenities for up to two pets.

The launch marks Dusit's third hotel in Hua Hin. The Dusit Thani Hua Hin, a deluxe beachside resort, has been operating for 30 years. Dusit also recently began managing the Seapine Recreation Centre, next to Suanson beach.

Dusit International's property portfolio now comprises more than 300 properties across six brands in 17 countries worldwide.

"We are delighted to launch DusitD2 in Hua Hin and expand our market further to reach and captivate a whole new segment of travellers in this popular seaside destination," said Suphajee Suthumpun, group chief executive of Dusit International.

"Complementing the full-service offerings of our long-standing Dusit Thani Hua Hin resort, DusitD2 Hua Hin is ideally positioned to meet the needs of the drive-to-leisure market from Bangkok. From modern Thai-inspired designs and our distinct gracious hospitality to pet-friendly rooms, extensive lifestyle facilities, and a great location near popular shopping areas and the beach, the hotel has all the ingredients for a highly memorable stay."

The hotel also provides excellent value for young families, groups of friends, and even those looking for a comfortable and convenient base for remote working. All guests can rest assured that with Dusit, their well-being and safety will always come first," Mrs Suphajee said.
