Thailand's leading hotel operator Centara is scheduled to debut personalised luxury and hospitality with Centara Reserve Samui on Dec 1.

Nestled at the tranquil end of Chaweng Beach in Samui, the elegant new resort features colonial splendour with contemporary flair, and is located just a short stroll from all the island's wonders and top attractions.

Thirayuth Chirathivat, Centara Hotels & Resorts' chief executive, said the opening of Centara Reserve Samui marks a monumental milestone for the company.

"This significant debut for our Centara Reserve brand perfectly complements our diverse portfolio, as we strive to satisfy the increasing demand for exceptional offerings and experiences, and meet the evolving needs of a key customer audience which we have not previously catered to," Mr Thirayuth said.

Reserve Samui boasts 184 luxury rooms, pool suites, beachfront pool villas, and six celebrated dining venues and bars. Guests can stay in either a lush tropical garden or experience exquisite ocean views with spacious private balconies and terraces.

The hotel also presents the world's first Reserve Spa Cenvaree with its organic herb garden, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, an innovative gin bar with botanically infused gin cocktails, and bespoke dining experiences where the talented chefs prepare artful dishes and share their culinary skills right in the heart of the resort's central kitchen.

The hotel also offers a family-friendly barbecue under a gazebo, a gourmet castaway beach picnic, a glamping barbecue, or a romantic candlelit dinner in the gardens.

Centara Reserve Samui is nestled at the tranquil end of Chaweng Beach.

Kids also have their own tech-free children's zone with a wet playground and engaging activities to stimulate their imagination, including batik painting, kite making, Thai boxing, junior chef classes, and junior mixologist classes.

As for sustainability, Centara Reserve Samui's environmental focus means it is 100% plastic-free and also home to specialised water treatment facilities that bottle in-resort still and sparkling water, while food waste is transformed into biogas for use in the kitchen.

"A hallmark of the Centara Reserve brand is that there is a story and meticulous thought behind every detail. Through Centara Reserve Samui's inspirational environment and celebrated culinary offerings, combined with the unparalleled commitment to bespoke service, we are looking forward to inspiring guests to explore a world reserved for them, and write intriguing new stories of their own," said Patrick Moukarzel, general manager.
