T&B Media Global (Thailand), a Thai media and entertainment company, is joining hands with multiple Thai and international partners to develop the ADOT NFT platform and the Translucia Metaverse project as a supporting ecosystem for the utility token Crown Token (CWT).

Jwanwat Ahriyavraromp, T&B chief executive, said after its unveiling on the Zipmex trading platform on March 3, the CWT digital token will leverage T&B's intellectual property (IP) such as movies and animated series through several collaborative projects with various partners.

Among these partners is the Australian blockchain company Pellar Technology, which will assist T&B in developing the ADOT non-fungible token platform, which will link T&B's IPs to digital assets and tokens to create new opportunities for both creators and audiences.

Through the ADOT platform, CWT holders will receive special benefits. They can obtain NFT airdrops from six animation titles, vote on the direction of T&B's films and animations, gain the right to be part of certain films and NFTs, and participate in the T&B Translucia Metaverse project.

Pannathorn Lorattawut, chief business development officer of T&B, said that their partners will allow their IPs on the platform.

"If you had a favourite character in the past, you would buy a plushie of that character. Nowadays though, you can buy an NFT of that character as a collector. And later, you can bring that character to life in the metaverse and walk alongside it," she said.

Artists and creators will also benefit from the platform's piracy protection and additional income generation.

Mr Jwanwat confirmed that T&B would be partnering with 15 companies. Local collaborators include MQDC, Zipmex, Last Idol Thailand, BBTV New Media, Search Entertainment, The One Enterprise, LOMABin, Huawei Technologies, Infofed, Cozy Game and Rangsit University.

In addition to Pellar Technology, other global partners include Andrew Gordon, a Pixar animator for movies such as Toy Story; Kenji Xiao, a Chinese animation producer; and Sunac Culture group, a group that operates family entertainment with its real estate network in China.

Additionally, preparations are underway for CWT to be traded in other countries outside of Thailand.

In conjunction with the ADOT platform, Tree Roots Entertainment Group, T&B's subsidiary, is also developing the SMO platform, an interactive community hub to connect influencers, celebrities and creators with their fans.

The SMO platform will help form a suitable environment for the CWT.
