Total trading value was 68.8 billion baht, with 11 billion shares changed hands.
The SET50 index advanced 0.44%, or 4.70 points, to 1,079.07 in trade worth 42.6 billion baht.
MAI climbed 0.72%, or 4.05 points, to 564.54 in transactions worth 1.5 billion baht.
Small investors were net buyers of 2.8 billion baht worth of shares, followed by local institutions (313.2 million baht) and brokers (144.2 million baht). Foreigners sold a net 3.3 billion baht.
Year-to-date, institutional investors were net buyers of 59.7 billion baht, followed by brokers (11.7 billion baht) and foreigners (9.5 billion baht). Retail investors were sole net sellers of 81 billion baht.
