Total trading value was 54.8 billion baht, with 10.9 billion shares changed hands.
SET50 index gained 0.40%, or 3.91 points, to 984.66 in trade worth 35.5 billion baht.
MAI advanced 1.13%, or 6.14 points, to 551.77 in transactions worth 1.8 billion baht.
Institutional investors bought a net 1.4 billion baht. Brokers sold 1.2 billion baht, followed by foreigners (91.8 million) and retail investors (63.3 million).
Year-to-date, institutional investors were net buyers of 35.6 billion baht, followed by foreigners (8.5 billion) and brokers (1.3 billion). Individual investors sold 45.4 billion baht.
